I’m writing to you after a long absence to let you know about a few in-person events I’ll be doing this week. The first event is very exciting. I’m going to appear in Hot Springs at The Vapors this Thursday night. That’s right, the actual Vapors. The Vapors was purchased and remodeled and is now a live performance venue once again, renamed “The Legendary Vapors.” I’m more than excited to have been invited to read from the book and give a talk to open the Hot Springs Book Festival this week. The event is sold out, but there’s a chance you can get in the night of the show if people with reservations don’t show, so show up anyway! There’s going to be live jazz music and food and spirits, and I’ll be signing books after, so it should be a good time.
